PHASE I - INTRODUCTORY PHASE TO RESISTANCE TRAINING
Phase I is designed for the beginner or someone restarting
an exercise regimen. Through proper instruction, this phase
will help with body mechanics and enable you to establish a
solid foundation in order to achieve your desired goals with
proper form and decreased risk of injury.
PHASE II - ENDURANCE CIRCUIT TRAINING
Once your foundation and proper form is initialized, Phase
ll circuit training focuses on high repetition exercises combined
with shorter intervals of resting. The primary goal for this
phase is to enhance slow-twitch muscle performance, increasing
joint strength while simultaneously building muscular speed
and endurance.
PHASE III - STRENGTH TRAINING
In this phase of development, repetitions drop as the physical
demand of lifting higher weights increase by approximately 25%.
Phase lll begins to fine-tune the conditioning of the second
phase and also begins recruiting more strength after the plateaus
of resistance have been reached.
PHASE IV - ISOLATION TRAINING
Resistance movements begin to slow down to resemble the super-slow
method. Repetitions again decrease in order to pass another
threshold of strength. The primary focus of this phase is to
utilize heaver weights while maintaining perfect form.
